Tailored Strength coaching for busy parents, who have tried everything to get out of pain and need daily support that goes beyond reps and sets.

(And are committed to change)
For example...
Here's what we usually get asked
In a nutshell, our work together is split into 3 pillars. Education, Mentorship and Movement.
It is delivered via coaching software that you access via an app on your smartphone or on your computer.
When we first meet via teleheath (or in person should you be in the region) we will already spoken on the phone so our time is spent using the information taken from our discovery and use it to guide a thorough physical movement assessment. That assessment continues in the first 2 - 3 weeks of our work together so that by the time you have a programme written it is designed specifically to meet you where you're at, to get to where you want to go.
Alongside the movement training, education is drip fed to help you understand firstly what your body is telling you, and then to use that information to support your training and life so that you learn how to push yourself enough to create positive change, but not so much that you overdo things and create flare ups.
However the most valuable aspect is access, via your coaching software, for any questions you may have at any time - with the ability to get same day answers (on business days), often within the hour. It's like having the coach and physio you used to see once a week or once a fortnight, in your back pocket!
TL:DR: Learn what your body is telling you, train in a way that supports your body, have a real coach in your back pocket.
Our first month comprises of a weekly Accelerator call to ensure you are completely comfortable with the programme delivery, the assessment process and the education aspect.
After the first month we connect on a monthly basis for up to 60 minutes to discuss in depth how things are progressing, if goals have changed (they will once you see what is achievable) and how we will develop your trianing.
In the interim you will have access to your coach via our coaching software, weekly questionnaires that are reviewed and used to tweak programming on the fly if needed.
Communication is the most important aspect of this relationship. Your coach will programme for you based on objective measures, capacity for training and what's happening for you currently. The more they know, the better. You can't offend us so if you're not enjoying any aspect of the plan, let us know so we can move fast!
The only drawback of remote coaching is that your coach is not able to coach with immediate feedback rep to rep. Whilst this doesn't preclude you from remote coaching it does mean we will have to move slower with more caution.
If you are in the area it would be beneficial to complete a course of in person coaching to set you up for success, learn gym jargon and movement competency before moving online.
Whilst this is more expensive in the short term it is guaranteed to save you time and money long term.
This is so common and likely our biggest stumbling block.
Honestly this is going to take a commitment. We are going to ask you to trust us, the process and most importantly yourself.
A huge obstacle we see is people putting things off until things calm down. Has your life calmed down in the last 10 years?
The question really is do you trust yourself to commit to this process? To carve out 3-5 hours a week for yourself?
If the answer is no...part of our role is to assist with that. The time to do it is when you have the most support.
But if now is not the time and you really can't see your way to prioritising your health so you can show up for your family/work/sports teams that keep you so busy - we might not be for you right now.
Honestly...It differs.
But here's a rough guide
2 - 4 training sessions of up to an hour each.
Daily Corrective work and mind muscle connection - think 15 - 20 minutes.
Education engagement: Dripped out to you 2 x weekly. 10-15 minutes.
Feedback on training/logging your sessions 5-20 minutes daily depending on the detail (the more comms you send my way, the more nuance I can give you.
Weekly Questionnaire: 5-10 minutes...Same situation as above.
Monthly review call: 30 -60 minutes
Honestly...To effect real transformation there is a time commitment. We can't shy away from that. But radical change requires effort and honesty. If you're down, I am...But if this might be too much right now I also completely understand. If it feels like it would be hard and uncomfortable...Good. That means it might be the path for you...Book that call!
Yes. Strength and movement competency is a fundamental component of living a life that inspires you.
Whilst you don't need to be a member of a gym, you do need to move external load so a set up at home, as long as you have weights that will challenge you, will also work.
If you are willing to move, it doesn't matter where.
Being totally honest...we can't guarantee you will become completely pain free by the end of our time working together.
What we guarantee is that through this you will learn what your body is telling you, how to create a greater understanding of how to support your lifestyle and that if you follow the plan you will get stronger and more mobile.
In over 2 decades of experience of physio and coaching, if those pillars are improved, there has not been a person who we have helped that hasn't had a huge reduction in symptoms and a massive improvement in quality of life.
But...if that's not enough to give you peace of mind...If you follow the plan we lay out for 30 days and don't feel better within that time I offer a full refund. No questions asked.
Lastly...If we get on a call and we don't believe this is the right option for you, we will go out of our way to ensure you get to where you need to be. We have a trusted team of profressionals on our rolodex for exactly this scenario.
The fastest we've seen results is actually within a week. And to be honest it's because the client has changes a recovery behaviour or understood pain a little better through the education modules.
That being said the average time we work with people is 9-12 months.
This is because although it is relatively easy to feel better quickly by managing your load and inflammation, the real work is in building your capacity so you're harder to kill.
That takes time and support so you don't rush and overdo things leading to more pain and frustration.
The end goal is for us to be fired because you know exactly what works and what doesn't for your body and are confident to get back to doing the things you love safely and confidently.
No. You have a real coach with you just a message away. We care and it shows.
Nutrition is a massive topic and incredibly individual.
We currently don't cover nutrition in our coaching.
However we know that what we eat has a huge impact on our recovery capacity. Within that sphere we look at all habits, including nutrition, and offer generalised support as part of our overarching plan.
Think "lets see if we can prioritise protein at meal times" or "aim for 2 litres of water a day" rather than specific figures or dietary advice based on an individuals situation.
If nutrition or dietetics is important to you we have a rolodex of people we trust and can easily connect you.
Short answer: You'll know. A good rule of thumb though is that people feel they are ready to move on once they have had a setback during our work together and come back from it even stronger because they understand it doesn't mean they have to stop AND they know what to do to get out of pain now.
If you need a more concrete answer...We have a 14 page KPI checklist. Once you have all of the itemns ticked off on there...You're going to be close!
When we decide that you've reached your stated goals, and most likely beyond your wildest dreams, you have 2 options.
1. Fire us. Choose a new adventure that inspires you. Try some training you never believed was possible. Climb Mt Everest. The choice is yours.
2. We continue to work with people well beyond the time that they need us. They often see such great results that they want to continue. The difference is that now it's through choice. Not necessity.
